Hiking is one of the most rewarding, beautiful, and often most challenging experiences for a Washingtonian. There's nothing like hiking in the Pacific Northwest, and it's an available adventure we should never take for granted. That being said, if you're just starting out, going for a hike can be pretty daunting. Beginners and families tend to love the Bagley Creek Loop Trail for a place to get started. Not only is this trail immensely scenic, but it's also one of the best hikes in Washington! Let's take a look ...
The Bagley Creek Loop Trail is located near Maple Falls in Mount Baker National Forest.
This is in the same area as the Bagley Lakes Trail, which is only slightly longer.
This entire trail is less than two miles in length, but the scenery is incredible.
You'll see so much awe-inspiring nature, you'll (almost) forget you're also getting some great exercise.
The trail is largely forested, taking you to alpine lakes, gorgeous views of Table Mountain, and in the summertime, fields of wildflowers.
This trail will turn anyone into a diehard hiker.
The Bagley Creek Loop Trail is ranked as easy, and it's a nice, family-friendly nature walk.
That being said, even the most seasoned hiker can appreciate it.
About halfway into the hike, you'll reach the double-arched footbridge.
Make sure to turn east to follow Bagley Creek.
This spectacular trail is pretty popular, so you'll probably be sharing the experience with other hikers.
But if you go during the week or start early in the morning, you just might have these views to yourself.
The Bagley Creek Loop Trail is best enjoyed from June to September if you'd like to avoid the snow.
Whether you've been hiking for years or you've never set foot on a trail, you should add this trek to your bucket list.
