Of course, if you want to experience the beauty of this area without the commitment of a full day of hiking, we recommend taking the Ira Spring Wetland Trail. This three-mile loop still offers spectacular rainforest views and is a perfect alternative for those seeking a shorter forest adventure.
Bogachiel means "muddy waters." With that in mind, make sure you are prepared for wet and muddy conditions. It is, after all, a rainforest.
Homestead Loop takes hikers on a trail to the picturesque Bogachiel River, a great place to stop for lunch.
