Garden d'Lights is the annual holiday tradition at the Bellevue Botanical Garden.
And every year, it seems to keep getting better. They even offer live music along with the incredible light displays you'll see.
This year is another fantastic year of the Garden d'Lights, and it's sure to be exceptional.
The event kicks off on Saturday, November 26th, and you'll have until Saturday, December 31st to go. It's open Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, but closed on Christmas Day.
The displays are created with over half a million sparkling lights, which are formed into shapes of plants, flowers, butterflies, and animals.
This is all set against a beautiful botanical backdrop. It's a wonderful walk through this winter wonderland sure to delight to the whole family.
You'll find all sorts of creatures hidden in the garden that make this especially fun for young visitors.
That being said, the lights are just as fun for adults. The entire walk is only around a mile, and there's so much to see along the way, plan to enjoy the area for at least an hour.
If you're lucky, you'll even be treated to some live music while you're at the gardens.
Quite a few local choirs and quartets will be performing Christmas carols while guests look at the lights. The schedule is on the Bellevue Botanical Gardens website.
These displays are beautiful, but the weather outside can be frightful. Luckily, you can warm up inside.
Step inside the Aaron Education Center and purchase some coffee, cocoa, and snacks, and sit down for a while. Accessible restrooms are located near the Trillium Store, and open to all who attend the light display.
Here's the best part: this enchanting experience only costs $8.00 per person.
Children under 10 are free and don't need a ticket at all. Onsite parking is available for $5.00 per parking space. It's a wonderful way to see the best Christmas lights in Washington.
