1. Liberty Mills Farm, Somerset

The family-run Liberty Mills Farm can be found in Orange County. Their beloved corn maze is known for being a work of art, as well as the largest corn maze in the country! Corn maze admission typically begins the first week of September and runs through mid-November. While here, visitors can enjoy over seven miles of maze trails and walking paths, as well as a plethora of photo opportunities. 2. Doe Run Farm, Ararat

Located in the beautiful valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Doe Run Farm is a family-run operation that delights in celebrating all things farm and garden related. The annual corn maze is just one fall activity among many, but their incredible fall sunflower maze is practically legendary! Activities for the whole family include cornhole, horseshoes, snacks, and hay rides. Doe Run Farm typically opens its maze the last week of September, and it runs through the first week of November.

3. Northern Neck Farm Museum, Heathsville

The Northern Neck Farm Museum is a collection of farming equipment which was started by a Northumberland County native in 2006. Today, the museum is dedicated to preserving the agricultural history of the land through education and all kinds of farm equipment, and is a favorite field trip spot for local schools. But for the big kids and kids-at-heart, every September, the famous corn maze opens to the public! This maze is lovingly planted and tended by a wonderful crew of locals - and we appreciate their hard work!

4. Bergey's Breadbasket, Chesapeake

A bakery and a corn maze? Count us in! Bergey's Breadbasket is a bakery, deli, and creamery (yum!) run by the Bergey family. The business has a long history within the Tidewater area, and has been operating since 1910. In addition to freshly-baked treats, a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and more, visitors can enjoy touring the farm and its many photo opportunities. Fall visitors will also find multiple corn mazes to suit a variety of age groups. The maze typically opens for group reservations in mid-August, but will be open to the public mid-September through the end of October.

5. Back Home On The Farm., Harrisonburg

This family-friendly spot in Harrisonburg has miles of mazes and bridges for an interactive corn maze experience. Back Home on the Farm also keeps its corn maze design a secret until opening day (although you can get a sneak peek on their website!) The maze welcomes visitors from all ages, and there are even "Corn Cops" on site to ensure that no one gets lost! Add on the carousel, pumpkin patch, slides, and many fall activities and this is a Virginia day trip worth adding to your fall lineup.

6. Lloyd Family Farms, Rockville

Lloyd Family Farms in Rockville is your one-stop-shop for all things fall. In addition to an impressive corn maze, this spot offers a pumpkin patch, pony rides, multiple corn pits, and a chance to interact with the cutest farm animals. The corn maze season runs from the end of September through October, depending on the year.
