1. Moss Glen Falls, Stowe
Who knew that a quarter mile hike could lead you to this stunning 125 foot waterfall?
2. Putney Mountain, Putney
After checking out the pond below, be sure to take the easy ridge line walk that takes about an hour. You'll enjoy the lovely grassy summit after trekking 1.2 miles.
3. Little Rock Pond, Mount Tabor
This easy loop around a beautiful pond is 4.8 miles and will take about 3.5 hours... Unless you stop for a swim! Check out this great hike HERE

4. Eagle Mountain, Milton
This hike will take you to the highest point on the shore of Lake Champlain. There are gorgeous views to be seen from Hoyt Lookout on this 2.1 mile trek that takes about an hour to hike.
5. Burton Island, St. Albans
Since Burton Island is, well, an island, you can be sure to get some water views. This loop hike is 2.8 miles long with plenty of places to stop for a swim or catch an incredible sunset.
6. May Pond, Barton

7. Colchester Pond, Colchester

8. Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge, Swanton
You can hike as much or as little as you like while exploring the gorgeous Millisquoi National Wildlife Refuge. The setting at MaQuom Creek is magical!
9. Devil’s Gulch and Big Muddy Pond, Eden
Don't let the name fool you! The two ponds and ravine are well worth the 5-mile trek.
