It’s a short and sweet trail with unbelievable views. This is a huge crowd pleaser for everyone in your family!
The trail has lots of fun natural features.
You’ll pass through shaded alcoves filled with large trees and tons of cool ferns. The plants in this area are unique and amazing to see.
The views from this trail are varied and interesting.
You’ll even catch a glimpse of the Mount Carmel Tunnel.
There’s an impressive planked boardwalk you’ll have to cross.
You’ll also navigate across bare rock, and a moist grotto. This trail is easy but the terrain you’ll hike is varied!
The entire trail is only one mile long.
There’s only 442 feet of elevation gain throughout the whole hike. This makes it very accessible to most hikers in your party, as it doesn’t take too long or require too much effort to make it to the stunning views.
You can reach this awesome trail with its awe inspiring views from Highway 9.
There’s a parking lot where you can park your car right at the base of the trail. If it’s full, you can park along the roundabout a quarter of a mile before you reach the lot.
This hike is worth every moment it takes to get out to the overlook.
