It can be really hard to figure out when it's spring in Utah. One hint is that it's 70 degrees one day, and snowing the next. The other way to tell? Tulips! There is one breathtaking and photo-worthy tulip field in Utah that deserves a visit every single spring. In fact, there are thousands of tulips that are just waiting to be enjoyed and you will find them all in one place — Thanksgiving Point in Lehi.
It's Tulip Festival time at Thanksgiving Point! This is one of the most beautiful times of the year at this popular destination in Utah County.
The Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point runs from early April through early May each year. The festival takes place at Ashton Gardens, a stunning 50-acre garden.
These tulips in Utah are just spectacular. During this festival, approximately 750,000 tulips are planted, creating a sea of color that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
The walkways are lined with beds containing thousands of vibrant, brightly-colored blooms. And while you will see tulips of all colors, this festival at Thanksgiving Point also features flowers such as daffodils and poppies.
However, the tulips really are the star of the show at Thanksgiving Point and you can walk around and simply enjoy their beauty. They accompany just about every feature in the garden.
Some even coordinate with the budding trees.
Some of the tulips are particularly unique.
Plus, you'll love the spring exhibits. This is one event that the entire family will enjoy and you may even find yourself coming back to experience the beauty of these tulips in Utah over and over again.
Visit the Tulip Festival Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It's closed Sunday.
