Thanksgiving Point is one of the best spots for entertainment along the Wasatch Front. If you want indoor fun, you can check out a movie at the Larry H. Miller Megaplex or visit the dinosaurs at the Museum of Ancient Life. When the weather's nice, bask in the sun and get some fresh air on a stroll through Ashton Gardens during the tulip festival in Utah, then stop by to say "hello" to the animals who live at Farm Country. This is one of the best things to do in spring in Utah!
Thanksgiving Point, Utah, has just about every kind of entertainment imaginable, and there's something here for every member of the family all year long. When you visit In the spring, you'll find some extra-special attractions.
When you visit Thanksgiving Point during the springtime, you'll find fields of tulips, a butterfly biosphere, and baby farm animals.
The Tulip Festival runs from early April through mid-May. The beds at Ashton Gardens fill with beautiful blooms in many hues - little gems of springtime beauty!
In fact, more than 750,000 flowers will be on display during this spring festival including tulips, daffodils, and poppies.
Learn about the pretty tulips on a Guided Garden Walk, or just stroll through at your leisure. You can also take home a tulip bouquet for just a small fee. Bring your entire family and enjoy the beauty of the area — it's a great way to spend some time outside while enjoying the spring weather.
Farm Country is a favorite for guests of all ages. It's home to all kinds of animals including chickens, goats, sheep, horses, cows, pigs, and even peacocks.
When you visit during the month of April, you'll get to meet some adorable baby animals.
There's just nothing sweeter than a cute little calf or a tiny baby bunny. If you're lucky, you might even get to see a chick hatch in the incubation station.
While you're visiting Farm Country, you might want to go for a wagon ride, milk a cow, or ride a pony, too!
Springtime weather can be fickle, but a little rain won't ruin your day at Thanksgiving Point. Just head to the 40,000-square-foot Butterfly Biosphere for some indoor fun.
The Butterfly Biosphere is home to thousands of live butterflies from around the world, as well as beetles, tarantulas, and all kinds of insects. There are even family-friendly activities throughout the entire week including a butterfly release experience, a hands-on storytelling activity, and critter encounters.
You can choose to visit just one of Thanksgiving Point's attractions for a set admission price or purchase an Explorer Pass that will get you into Ashton Gardens, Farm Country, Butterfly Biosphere, the Museum of Natural Curiosity, and the Museum of Ancient Life.
