Are you looking forward to a little adventure this summer? If so, you might want to head to Moab, hook up with Moab Adventure Tours, and put your paddle raft or kayak into the Colorado River for a trip you'll never forget.
Moab Adventure Center is the place to go when you're looking for some red-rock fun. You'll find it at 225 S. Main St., Moab, UT 84532. The company offers everything from Jeep tours to climbing adventures, but you'll definitely want to try their river rafting trips.
The river rafting trips take you down the gorgeous Colorado River, which winds its way through seven states, covering 1,450 miles along the way. You'll be seeing the Fisher Towers section of the river, which is located just north of Moab.
The full-day rafting tour is eight hours long, with 6.5 hours on the river.
You'll travel 14 miles down the river, through some of the most scenic beauty you've ever encountered.
Parts of the river are so calm that you can jump out and swim alongside the boats...
...other parts contain class I and class II rapids, for an exciting ride.
When the water levels are higher in May and June, you might even experience some class III rapids!
Don't worry...Moab Adventure Tours has the most experienced river guides on the water.
Of course, you can't have a river rafting trip without a water fight!
You'll work up quite an appetite on the river, so the tour includes a BBQ lunch at Red Cliffs Lodge.
This trip is a blast for the whole family. After a day out on the Colorado River, everyone in the raft will be grinning from ear to ear.
This trip is perfect for just about everyone in the family ;participants must be at least five years old and weigh at least 50 pounds.
