Here's a little market that offers fresh-baked bread like you've never had before... and it's located in a remote part of the state, on a gorgeous, sustainable farm. You've got to check this out!
Mesa Farm is a 50-acre sustainable farm located in the most gorgeous setting. It's located 13 miles west of Hanksville.
The incredible farm grows all kinds of fruits and vegetables. The focus here is to produce food without harming the environment.
The farm is also home to many goats! The milk from the goats is used to make delicious cheese.
Mesa Farm has its own wood-fired stone oven, and they use to it bake fresh bread every day.
Here's a sneak peek to get your mouth watering.
These warm, crusty loaves are made with organic white or wheat flour.
Fresh cinnamon rolls are also made in the wood-fired oven.
You'll also want to take home some fresh goat cheese. This is a 30-day, semi-soft Alpine cheese.
Try the Red Mustard Bread Spread with a little bit of Chevre on a slice of warm, fresh-baked bread. You'll think you've died and gone to heaven.
Stop in to purchase produce, cheese, bread and even have them make you up a snack or lunch!
The farm market is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., March to November. Be sure to plan a visit before they close for the winter!
This little farm doesn't have a regular address, so it can be a little tricky to find.
Take Highway 24 from Hanksville or Fruita to mile marker 102.
