Well, summer has officially hit Utah with temperatures in the triple digits. It's time to head up the canyon and find yourself a nice, cool lake to play in. Here's one that never quite gets the attention it deserves, but it's the perfect place to spend a hot, summer day.
Deer Creek Reservoir is located in Wasatch County, just a few miles south of Heber. The 152,570-acre lake is fed by the Provo River, and it's the perfect spot for all kinds of recreation.
The reservoir has an absolutely stunning view of Mount Timpanogos in the distance.
