It's the perfect time of year for a short, easy stroll through Utah's vibrant fall foliage. If you're looking for a trail that's perfect for everyone, head to Cascade Springs.
The Alpine Loop is one of Utah's most popular leaf-peeping byways, and now's the time to see the leaves in all their fall splendor. Along the way, you might want to stop at Cascade Springs for a quick hike.
Cascade Springs has three different loop trails, for a total of less than one mile. Two of the loops are fully handicapped-accessible; the other loop is easy enough for most others.
The paved walkways make this less of a hike and more of a pleasant stroll.
You'll want to allow at least an hour or two to explore Cascade Springs. Though the walk won't take long, you'll want to stop along the way to snap plenty of photos.
The artesian springs that bubble up here create all kinds of unique natural water features.
Each view you'll come across is a little different, but all are just stunning, especially when framed by the vibrant, jewel-toned foliage.
These idyllic scenes create the perfect autumn atmosphere, and you'll be hard-pressed to find better foliage anywhere else in the Beehive State.
Everyone from little kids to grandma will enjoy an afternoon at Cascade Springs, and you never know what might be around the next bend in the trail...
Perhaps you'll see a moose! Plenty of moose call this canyon home, and if you're lucky, you might find one feeding on the tender reeds and grasses in the pools here.
