When temperatures climb in the Beehive State, it's time to find a spot to splash and play in the water. Luckily, almost every town in Utah has a community pool or splash pad, and there are other cool water wonderlands across the state that will take your summer to a whole new level.
1. The Homestead Crater, Midway
For a truly unique swimming experience, visit the Homestead Crater. You can splash, snorkel, and even scuba dive here.

2. Cowabunga Bay Water Park, Draper
You can't miss Cowabunga Bay - you'll see it right from I-15. It has tons of sprinklers, a lazy river, waterslides, and a huge bucket that fills up and dumps right over everyone.

3. Lagoon-A-Beach, Farmington
Spend the day riding coasters at Utah's only amusement park, then cool off in the lazy river and waterfall pools, and race down the waterslides.

4. Provo River and Weber River
High Country Adventure offers float tours down the Provo and Weber Rivers. Pop into one of their super heavy-duty tubes and float for a few hours before the tour company's shuttle takes you back to your car.
5. Cherry Hill, Kaysville
With its pirate ship, lazy river, and waterslides, you'll have blast all day long here, and you can extend the fun by staying overnight in the campground.

6. Aqua X Zone, Jordanelle Reservoir
Head to the Jordanelle Reservoir for fishing, boating, and camping, and while you're there make sure to check out Aqua X Zone, a huge inflatable playground that's floating on the lake.

7. Veyo Pool & Crawdad Canyon, Veyo
Veyo Pool is a little oasis just a few miles from St. George. It has a great swimming pool, rock climbing, and Crawdad Canyon, where you catch crawdads all afternoon.

8. Crystal Hot Springs, Honeyville
Crystal Hot Springs has been entertaining families for decades, and it's the perfect play for a family staycation. The mineral waters here are said to be therapeutic.

9. Seven Peaks Water Park, Provo
Seven Peaks Water Park is 26 acres of water wonderland. It has pools, slides, a huge kids area, and plenty of space to throw your towel down and hang out all day long.
