Remember the Himalayan salt cave we featured last week? Turns out it's not the only place to get salt therapy in Texas. These are five additional caves in our state that use the incredible power of natural salt to heal respiratory and skin conditions while sending your mind into a meditative state of bliss, and you'll be missing out on some serious rejuvenation if you don't give at least one of them a try.
1. Salt Cave of Southlake (Southlake)

2. Austin Salt Cave (Austin)
Relax in an anti-gravity chair while being serenaded by calming music vibrating through the salt-infused air. Sessions start every hour on the hour and cost $45 ($30 for first time visitors.) More information here.

This salt cave is located in the extravagant Puresol Resort in Boerne. Just like the others, it uses a combination of science and renowned relaxation techniques to give your mind a much needed vacation and rejuvenate your body. All the details can be found on their website.
4. Salt Escape (Dallas)
Although not a traditional cave, the rooms at Salt Escape are covered floor-to-ceiling in natural rock salt to create a sterilized, negative ion environment. Each session lasts 45 minutes, and pricing information as well as anything else you might need to know is listed here.
5. Ariasalt Salt Therapy Center (Fort Worth)
At Ariasalt, massage chairs and relaxing amber lighting will create an atmosphere sure to heal whatever you're ailing from. They even offer special children's rooms so your kiddos can get in on the therapy. More information here.
6. Salt Of The Earth (Sugar Land)
Salt Of The Earth is Houston's first salt therapy spa. It uses rock salt on all the walls as well as the usual pharmaceutical grade salt throughout the room for inhalation. Your first session is discounted by $20, so you should definitely give it a try. Read more about it here.
