I've written about Gorman Falls in Colorado Bend State Park before, but it's just so amazing that it deserves an article all its own. It really is an oasis tucked away within the thick brush of the Texas hill country. Not many people know a roaring, rushing waterfall exists in our state at all, let alone right under the nose of a good portion of our state's population. And the best part? It doesn't take strenuous hours of trekking uphill or a high fitness level to see this incredible sight. All it takes is a quick little three-mile round trip hike (that's only a mile and a half to the waterfall!).
