Paralleling the Corpus Christi Bay, the North Beach Beachwalk is a paved walkway that runs directly alongside the waterfront.
You'll find it just off Surfside Boulevard.
At just over three miles, the out-and-back trail takes most people about 45 minutes to complete.
Markers are spaced every 1/10 of a mile to help you keep track of your progress.
Sand and sea on one side and hotels on the other, the beachwalk offers the best of both worlds.
Nature is interwoven throughout, with shorebirds flying overhead all along the path.
On the topic of birds, informational signs get you acquainted with all the feathered friends you might encounter.
North Beach is teeming with life!
Leading to the pier next to the USS Lexington, the beachwalk lets you see the majestic vessel like never before.
Don't forget your camera - taking pictures is a must!
Waiting for you at the end of the trail is the Texas State Aquarium, which spans six acres and boasts nearly two dozen exhibits.
Cap off your beach stroll by getting up close and personal with the animals that inhabit Earth's vast oceans - a solid day, if you ask us!
