Cheekwood is a famed historic estate in the heart of Nashville, a step back in time that boasts a 55-acre botanical garden that plays host to festivals and weddings throughout the year.
It's the holiday season, however, that we feel like this gorgeous place truly has the chance to shine.
Cheekwood bosts over one million holiday lights during the most wonderful time of the year, festooning their gardens with all sorts of color and illumination.
You'll have the chance to enjoy holiday carolers, meet Santa Claus with your little ones and cozy up next to the s'mores pits. S'mores kits are available for purchase, and it's a fun way to laugh with the ones you love while indulging in a campfire favorite.
Real reindeer are also on-site during the Christmas event, which is always a hit with the little ones. Piano music and a poinsettia tree with over 500 poinsettias grace the art museum inside the mansion, and food and drink are also available.
Ticket prices for non-members can be purchased as following: Adults, $22. Youth (ages 3-17), $17. Children under the age of two enter for free, and you'll also save $3 a ticket if you visit during the non-peak nights of Monday through Wednesday. Parking is included, so no worries about an extra fee.
You can visit for the holiday season festivities from November 23rd to December 30th, from 5pm to 10pm. The event is now open seven days a a week so there's no reason to skip!
