We truly believe that Rutledge Falls is one of the most beautiful depictions of Tennessee hospitality that we've ever seen. The falls are privately owned, but are open to the public at the discretion of the owners. They have even gouged a parking lot out of the wilderness - seriously. Hey there, Tennessee. What a beautiful heart, what a beautiful place.
*Please be safe whenever swimming in the wilderness - the falls can be slippery, and there have been accidents. Take care and be smart!*
This is one of the greatest spots in the state if you're looking for a spot to hike, picnic, or swim in the chilly mountain water.
Located in Tullahoma, this is one fabulous view that will have your camera clicking overtime. When it comes to a bit of wild bred beauty, this is it.
If you choose to swim in the lagoon at the foot of the falls, you're sure to feel like you've died and gone to paradise. The water is chilly but the view is worth it. There are some known to jump from the rocks - but hey. We don't recommend that. Safety first, every time!
The surrounding area is beautiful as well, if you're looking to towel off and enjoy a little bit of a walk. It's something romantic, perfect for a wild sunset walk.
These gorgeous grounds are open from dawn until dusk, so you want to make sure to plan accordingly! Plus, free of charge? You really can't get better than that.
