There are many places in South Dakota to find adventure, but here's a place that should definitely go on your bucket list. Take a look at this zipline, then make plans to soar like an eagle on it soon!
Rush Mountain Adventure Park is nestled in the beautiful Black Hills, surrounded by fragrant forest and rolling meadows.
With views like this, you definitely want to get an eagle's eye view. The Soaring Eagle Zipline is just the thing to get your heart racing - and give you an incredible view that you wouldn't otherwise see.
Feeling a little nervous? No worries - the friendly staff members at the top will get you ready for your adventure.
The best thing about this zipline is that you're securely seated in a chair-style seat with a seatbelt.
The thrilling fun starts when they open the gate and send you on your way.
You'll fly 630 feet down the mountain. Check out this view!
Just like an eagle, you'll fly right through the trees.
When you get to the bottom, the zipline goes in reverse, pulling you backwards to the starting gate.
By the time you get all the way back to the top, you'll be all smiles.
And...you'll want to go again! For the best deal, get a wristband which includes all-day admission on the Soaring Eagle Zipline, along with the Rushmore Mountain Coaster and Gunslinger 7-D Interactive Ride. Wristbands cost $20-$50, depending on age.
Visit Rush Mountain Adventure Park at 13622 Highway 40 in Keystone.
The park is open in April on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Starting on May 1st, the park is open seven days a week.
