What could be more fun than a summer day in the water? How about slipping, sliding, jumping, and scrambling on a floating waterpark? Introducing South Carolina's newest floating waterpark, located on Johns Island just outside of Charleston.
An inflatable and floating waterpark, Charleston Aqua Park debuted in the summer of 2019 and is found at Trophy Lakes on Johns Island.
Here's how it works (which has changed a bit this year due to COVID): Just $15.75 gets you 45 minutes of fun on this bloated waterpark filled with air and the never-ending sounds of laughter from those enjoying the fun.
This year (again due to the pandemic), the park is limiting capacity to only 25 people at a time and asking for social distance consideration whenever possible on the attraction.
Kids of all ages (including those over the age of 18) have a blast jumping and scrambling at Charleston Aqua Park. The cost of admission includes the use of a life vest and a helmet.
For those who just want to watch from afar, the spectator area is perfect for keeping a keen eye on the kids and to also laugh along with their fun antics.

Beginning this year, you'll need to book your reservation online and in advance (again, due to the pandemic). The minimum age requirement is six years old. For those aged 6-8, the park requires an adult to be present on the floating waterpark with those children. All participants must be able to swim.
