The Claire D. McIntosh Wildlife Refuge is a small 28-acre property that offers something for everyone. A short handicap accessible trail is a delight for all. Enjoy a visit to the nature center and aquarium to stretch out your stay.

9. Powder Mill Ledges Wildlife Refuge, Greenville

Head deep into a woodland paradise at Powder Mill Ledges Wildlife Refuge. Fern forests and unusual rock outcroppings dot the trails making for an interesting hiking experience.

10. Emilie Ruecker Wildlife Refuge, Tiverton
