Spring will be in full swing in Rhode Island before we know it, which means it won't be long before the tulips are in bloom. There's no better place to tiptoe through the tulips than Wicked Tulips Flower Farm, a beloved gem in Exeter, RI. Visiting this place is a time-honored tradition for many New Englanders, and it's a tradition that will continue in the future. Wicked Tulips Flower Farm is owned by a husband and wife team.
Keriann and Jeroen Koeman moved to Rhode Island in 2015 with an established tulip business. They started Wicked Tulips that same year, eventually EcoTulips.com (now WickedTulips.com) with Wicked Tulips Flower Farm.

Keriann is a native New Englander and a self-described green girl, while Jeroen comes from a family of Dutch tulip growers.
The main field is mixed with more than 75 varieties of tulips, each of which shows at slightly different times and allows for a fuller field and longer blooming period.
When the tulips bloom in late April or early May, the farm hosts the only u-pick tulip event in the state.
Guests can purchase tickets, which are good for picking 10 tulips. Each tulip after that is $1 per stem. While you can bring your own scissors or clippers, they won't be necessary.

At the end of the season, the remaining tulips are donated to area nursing homes and other facilities.
Additionally, there are two other Wicked Tulips, one is located in Johnston, RI, while the other can be found in Preston, CT.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Give me a chance to spend time, even just a few minutes, around animals, and I'm in, even if it means going off the beaten path a bit. Even catching a glimpse of an animal - a deer standing on the side of a rural road as I drive by, for example - is enough to make the day that much better. Next time you're on Block Island, head over to Abrams Animal Farm. You won't need a whole lot of time at this animal farm in Rhode Island, but there's a pretty good chance you'll have a ton of fun, smile the whole time, and make memories. A trip to New Shoreham on Block Island wouldn't be complete, at least for animal lovers, without a quick stop at Abrams Animal Farm, which sits across from the 1661 Inn.
