These nine waterfront parks in Rhode Island are all worthy of a visit during the summertime.

1. Goddard Memorial State Park, Warwick

2. Brenton Point State Park, Newport

3. Colt State Park, Bristol

The entire western border of Colt State Park is open to the Narragansett Bay for sweeping panoramic views. 4. Waterplace Park, Providence

5. Beavertail State Park, Jamestown

6. Burlingame State Park, Charlestown

7. King Park, Newport

8. Fort Wetherill State Park, Jamestown
