Rhode Island gained the nickname of the Ocean State for good reason. With 400 miles of stunning coastline, there are plenty of gorgeous beaches to visit during the warm months. But if you are tired of the sand between your toes, try something different by taking a trip to this summer water park that's found in one of the wackiest places.
Yawgoo Waterpark is located in Exeter. This family-friendly park is a great way to cool off for kids and adults alike.
This summer water park is actually a part of the Yawgoo Valley Ski Area. Now that the snow is gone, ditch the skis and grab your bathing suit.
You'll find two twisting slides totally over 750 feet in length that dump into a 3-foot pool.
Jump into the large pool that ranges from four to six feet deep. That's plenty of water to keep you cool.
Little ones can enjoy splashing around in the one-foot deep kiddie pool.
Adults over 21 can enjoy cold cocktails at the poolside tiki bar.
Tickets for the water park are sold in hourly increments or you can purchase an all day pass for $32. Toddlers under 4-years-old are free with an adult.
The summer water park is open from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily from June 23rd - Labor Day.
