Rhode Island might be a small state, but those of us that live here recognize the beauty surrounding us. From Beavertail State Park in Jamestown to Lincoln Woods, there are so many gorgeous parks found all around. Though we've already talked about one of the best hidden parks in our post about Neutaconkanut Park in Providence, there other great parks tucked away in Little Rhody's cities.
Though well known to Warwick residents, City Park is often overlooked by the rest of the state.
The fact that this sprawling urban park has remained such a hidden gem is shocking once you explore the area!
Not only does it have wonderful hiking trails through the woods, it even offers three miles of paved bike path perfect for walkers and bikers alike.
Wether you want to walk, or mountain bike through the forest, or take a casual stroll across the boardwalk by the water, there are so many diverse offerings here.
Even the family dog has options! The park has one of the most lively dog parks in state with two closed in areas for bigger dogs, or puppies and smaller sized fur pals.
Other attractions feature baseball fields, a basketball court, playground, and of course the stunning beach.
Find the park on Steven O' Connor Blvd in Warwick just just off Buttonwoods Avenue.
