1. Beavertail State Park, Jamestown
Beavertail State Park is found in the charming island town of Jamestown. Not only does it offer several acres of gorgeous cliffside exploration, but also is home to amazing hiking trails, hidden beaches, and an historic lighthouse museum.
2. Lincoln Woods State Park, Lincoln
This park found in Lincoln might be the best place to catch the leaves changing in the fall. It also offers some of the best hiking in the state, a gorgeous pond, and so much more!
3. India Point Park, Providence
India Point Park is found in the historic Fox Point area of Providence's East Side. Watching the sunset over the city's skyline is a breathtaking experience that should not be missed in the state.
4. East Bay Bike Path
This 14.5 mile paved rail trail goes through some of the most beautiful scenery in Rhode Island. If you're looking to spend a day outside and want to experience some of the loveliest landscapes around, this trail is just so worth it.
5. Mohegan Bluffs, Block Island
Though you'll need to take a boat to get there, these natural granite cliffs are as magical as they are massive. At more than 100 feet tall and a secluded beach at their base, the bluffs are one of Rhode Island's most impressive natural wonders.
6. Newport Cliff Walk, Newport
The 3.5 mile walkway known as the Newport Cliff Walk is a popular tourist attraction for a reason. It offers beautiful views of the ocean and is a designated National Recreation Trail.
7. Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge, Charlestown
The diverse blend of upland and wetland habitats making up Ninigret make some of the most beautiful landscapes in state. Ninigret is also a wonderful place to visit for birdwatching and fishing.
8. State beaches
Let's face it, there are simply too many amazing state beaches to choose from. Scarborough, Misquamicut, and Charlestown's Town Beach are all amazing options, but you really can't go wrong at any of the Ocean State's gorgeous beaches.
9. Green Animals Topiary Garden, Portsmouth
As the nation's oldest and most northern topiary garden, Green Animals maintains its wonder! See more than 80 unique topiary sculptures, tour the gardens, and explore the rest of the property at its location in Portsmouth.
10. Burlingame State Park, Charlestown
Find one of Rhode Island's largest recreational areas known as Burligame State Park in lovely Charlestown. Be sure to also visit Kettle Pond while there!
