We all have our favorite restaurants in the state. They are the places we always go back to and never disappoint us. While it's true Rhode Islanders might love routines, there are amazing restaurants located just around the corner that are definitely worth the visit. They're so good we recommend adding them to your dining bucket list and make sure you see them before it's too late!
1. Matunuck Oyster Bar, South Kingstown
Nothing says Rhode Island like this waterfront seafood restaurant. Find some of the best in local seafood offerings after your long beach day. If you haven't gone to Matunuck in the warm weather and sat on the patio, make sure you do.
2. White Horse Tavern, Newport
The White Horse Tavern is a fine dining restaurant in Newport serving up colonial history. This is the oldest tavern in continuous operation in the entire country.
3. Iggy's Doughboys, Narragansett and Warwick
Iggy's is famous for their fried clamcakes and amazing chowder. This is a popular Rhode Island tradition and if you haven't been, you're missing out.
4. Trinity Brewhouse, Providence
This local microbrewery offers amazing ales, and a delicious pub fare menu. Stop in for a growler of your favorite beer to go, or stay for a great dinner with friends.
5. Blackie's Bulldog Tavern, Smithfield
This neighborhood tavern in Smithfield serves amazing food in its laid back and cozy environment. There are plenty of beers on tap, great service, and an exciting menu with delicious options.
6. Nick's on Broadway, Providence
Nick's is known for its creative menu and comfortable setting. This restaurant is a great place for brunch and an even better spot for dinner!
7. The Red Parrot, Newport
From surf and turf to pizza, The Red Parrot does it all well in its fun restaurant located in downtown Newport.
8. Rasoi, Pawtucket
Rasoi, which is Hindi for kitchen, is the go to place for Indian food in the state.
9. Hemenway's, Providence
Few things are as delicious as the food served at Hemenways Seafood Grill and Oyster Bar located along the Providence River. Enjoy amazing seafood with a stunning view of the city here.
10. Blaze Village Kitchen, Pawtucket
The eclectic menu and amazing cocktails at Blaze make this a must-visit food destination. With brick fired pizza, tapas, and amazing entrees, there is a lot to love about this place.
11. Crazy Burger, Narragansett
Crazy Burger and Juice Bar in Narragansett is difficult to get into during the busy summer months, but is worth the wait. The amazing unique burgers and unique setting are sure to please.
12. Los Andes, Providence
Hoping to experience some of the very best in Peruvian food? Los Andes is the place to go! Amazing seafood and meat dishes, creative cocktails, and their stunning outdoor patio make Los Andes worth the trip.
