By late summer the water is less than frigid, making it the perfect time to visit this picturesque location.
The journey starts near the Oneonta Tunnel. To get there, take I-84 East to exit 35. Continue on the Historic Highway for 2 miles until you reach the parking area just past the Oneonta Tunnel.
After descending a staircase, you are quickly along the water and can proceed making your way upstream.
The entire journey is scenic and serene, though it can be crowded on hot summer days.

This can be slippery, and it is important to wear sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting wet.
You will walk between two massive 100-foot walls of rock for much of the half-mile journey.
There is no need to find a formal trail, as the creek is all the trail you need.
