Grab your binoculars next time you’re driving through town. Do you see it on the Three Rivers? A flag waving wildly in the wind. Maybe you can even hear the faint sound of "argh" or "ahoy matey." We’ve seen a lot of ships and boats cruise down the Three Rivers but never one quite as unique as the Jolly Roger in Pittsburgh.

Gear up for a fun few hours on the water with the Pittsburgh Pirate Ship, which hosts a brand new river tour aboard its Jolly Roger.

With a motto like “where adventure awaits,” you know that the two-hour cruise up and down the Three Rivers will be jam-packed with fun, activities for the kiddos, and gorgeous views of the city skyline.

Even better, each cruise is chartered, so it’s just you and up to five fellow passengers (all from the same group) meandering down the river.

During the pandemic, guests will have to bring their own food and drink aboard the Jolly Roger, which will be thoroughly cleaned between each sailing. However, once the local restrictions allow, you’ll be able to buy snacks and drinks right on board.

Bring a sense of adventure when you climb aboard the Jolly Roger, a pontoon boat that measures 26 feet. You might even get to meet Captain Jack - if you’re lucky.

You’ll probably also want to bring your camera or smartphone to snap photos of your journey aboard the Jolly Roger. Food and drink, including alcohol, are permitted, but all items must be cleaned prior to disembarking from the ship.

The two-hour cruise will also feature music and kid-centric activities, and you might even learn something new about Pittsburgh and the Three Rivers from your captain.
