Our city is so beautiful - if you need proof, just check out these stunning photographs - and the views you can find hiding in this city will blow you away. Whether you're looking to get high with an observation deck, or prefer the skyline views from ground level, check out all of these spots where you can really appreciate the city of Brotherly Love.
1. One Liberty Observation Deck
The tallest observation deck in Philly is at the top of One Liberty Place, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. On a clear day, you can see for miles all around from the top.
2. R2L
Dine with a view at R2L, the chic restaurant located at Two Liberty Place. This is the perfect spot to plan a sunset meal and watch the city go from day to night from your sky high viewpoint.
3. South Street Bridge
Walk down South Street toward University City and you'll cross the river between 27th and 33rd Streets. The bridge here will give you one of the best views of the skyline that you'll find anywhere.
4. XIX at the Bellevue
XIX (NINETEEN) at the Bellevue offers a great view of Center City from way high up. Sip fancy cocktails and mingle with friends at this trendy Center City spot.Address: 200 S Broad St. #19, Philadelphia, PA
5. Top of City Hall
This is my favorite view in Philly. Ride an old fashioned (and slightly terrifying) elevator to the clock tower level of City Hall and the view will take your breath away.Address: 1401 John F Kennedy Blvd., Philadelphia, PA
6. Ben Franklin Bridge
It's no surprise that seeing the Philly skyline from the BFB is a great view! Many people stroll the bridge and back just to see their city in a new way.
7. Bok Bar
Bok Bar offers some of the best views in Philadelphia when they're open in Spring, Summer, and early Fall. This trendy cocktail bar serves up delicious drinks and the occasional snack food or appetizers as the season goes on. Visit and see for yourself why Bok Bar has become one of the coolest spots to be in Philly.Address: 1901 S 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA
8. The Art Museum Steps
Go ahead, do the Rocky thing - and then turn around. The view down the Parkway and of the Skyline is one of the best in Philadelphia.Address: 2600 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy., Philadelphia, PA
All of these are just stunning - but it's City Hall that really draws me in. What's your favorite view in Philadelphia? Share your photos with us on the Only In Philadelphia Facebook page or on Instagram (@onlyinphiladelphia) using #onlyinphiladelphia for a chance to see your shots featured!
