Nestled in the Black Forest, the tiny but scenic 132-acre Ole Bull State Park offers an idyllic setting for a summer escape, whether you're in the mood for a day of lounging on the beach or hiking along tree-lined paths.
Although it's one of Pennsylvania's smaller beaches at just 150 feet, the sandy shore at Ole Bull State Park promises a quiet way to cool off all summer long.
Set up your beach towel or chair and umbrella on the beach or the lawn, where trees offer shade from the hot sun.
Take care when swimming in Kettle Creek as there are no lifeguards on duty. The beach is open annually from the end of May until the middle of September.
