Nature certainly provides us with so many breathtaking moments. And, nothing can quite compare to a waterfall - especially the largest in PA. Even better? The hike to this spectacular triple waterfall in Pennsylvania is short, relatively easy, and the views at the end just can't be beat.
Slip on a pair of comfy shoes - and don't forget your camera - before you set off on the Raymondskill Creek Trail that will lead you to...
Raymondskill Falls, the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania. In fact, the three-tier waterfall is only several feet shorter than the famous Niagara Falls.
The .03-mile hike along Raymondskill Creek Trial is rated easy-moderate. However, you will have to climb some stairs, so make sure you've got on a pair of sturdy shoes.
And, be prepared for breathtaking scenery along the short trail that can get quite crowded, especially on picture-perfect weather days.
Of course, keep one very important rule in mind when you arrive at the three-tier waterfall. You are not allowed to wade or to swim...
At the base of the waterfall or in the waterfall. Doing so could have both physical (injuries, for example) and monetary (steep fines) consequences.
Then, when you arrive at the tallest waterfall in PA, you'll have two options for viewing it. Stop by the top viewing area, where you can watch the waterfall cascade down.
Or start at the lower viewing area, where you can feel the spray of the water as it rushes down, and snap photos.
Unfortunately, there is not a viewing platform at the base of the waterfall.
Address: 917 Raymondskill Road, Milford, PA, 18337
