From glittering city skylines to majestic mountain ranges, Pennsylvania's landscapes are simply breathtaking, whether we visit during the lush green of spring or summer, the bold colors of autumn, or the snowy days of winter. Hop out of the car, take a short stroll, and arrive at a scenic overlook, like Tidioute Overlook in Pennsylvania.
Spanning more than half a million acres, Allegheny National Forest promises the opportunity to spend time in the quiet of nature, and it's home to countless natural gems, including the Tidioute Overlook.
The scenic overlook is open seasonally, generally from late March through mid-December. You should still be able to see the snow-covered landscape from the overlook in the late fall.
As you drive along Route 337 Road in Tidioute, keep an eye out for the small parking lot. You shouldn't have any difficulty finding a parking spot as the overlook isn't usually busy.

If you're not in a hurry, bring a picnic and relax under the shade of the trees.
