Raymondskill Falls is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. If you've not visited yet, be sure to add a winter hike to Raymondskill Falls to your bucket list.
At less than a mile, the Raymondskill Creek Trail leads straight to the three-tier Raymondskill Falls, which drops an impressive 150 feet.
During the warmer months, you can stop by the Visitor Center for more information. However, all of the visitor centers in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area are closed during the off-season.
Hike along the trail that's rated between easy and moderate, due to the fact that you'll experience an elevation of 178 feet. The trail is also uneven in spots, so pay attention as you're walking.
Your best bet is to wear sturdy shoes or boots. You might even want to bring hiking poles. If you get tired along the way, take a breather on one of the benches on the trail.
You'll also have to climb a set of stairs if you want to admire the frozen waterfall from the top tier.
