Spend a lovely day browsing vendor tents, breathing in the aroma of fresh baked goods and homemade food. Stock up on the freshest locally grown produce. And, shop for original gifts for friends and loved ones. Engage in a longstanding tradition this summer when you visit the Easton Farmers Market in Pennsylvania.
Join countless vendors and other visitors at the Easton Farmers Market for a longstanding tradition, one that dates back to before the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The charming Centre Square boasts a rich history over the centuries, including being one of only three sites in which the Declaration of Independence was read on July 8, 1776.
The Easton Farmers Market features products that are all from local farmers. All produce is grown locally while meat is guaranteed to be free of antibiotics and hormones.
Before a farm can participate in the farmers market, it must first be inspected to ensure it meets standards for "growing practices and animal care."
Breathe in the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked bread as you browse such vendor tents as Flour Shop Bakery, Saxman Breads, and Stone Oven at Apple Ridge Farm.
Relax with a delicious snack or a meal from one of the numerous restaurant vendors, such as Alladin Middle Eastern, State Cafe & Grill, and Terra Cafe. Pickle lovers will want to stop by Pickle Licious for a pickle on a stick.
Pick up homemade soap from Teel's Hill Soapworks or unique gifts from Mercantile Home.
The iconic farmers market also features a variety of children's activities each weekend, including a scavenger hunt (May 20), Strawberry Day (June 3), and a craft program (July 1).
Plan a visit to the Easton Farmers Market - "America’s oldest, continuous open-air market" - when it celebrates its 265th birthday on July 8, 2017. Enjoy live entertainment and a delicious free piece of birthday cake at 10 a.m.
Bring cash or a debit card to make purchases. SNAP is also accepted.
Stop by the Easton Farmers Market during its regular season from May through December on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and during the winter season from January through April on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
