You'll have a bit of a drive - just over two hours from downtown Pittsburgh - to reach Bilger's Rocks in Grampian. However, you'll quickly realize the drive is well worth it.

Boulders, caves, passageways, and cliffs. The area, in fact, is popular with climbers who want to ascend the massive boulders.
Even if you're not a climber, you can take a leisurely stroll or hike along one of the hiking trails, which total more than 10 miles. Each trail is marked with a color, so you'll easily be able to find your way.
The Pink Trail, for example, spans .73 of a mile and is the shortest of the trails. If you're up for a longer trek, set off on the Yellow Trail, which tallies 1.29 miles.
You can also bring a picnic along as you'll find numerous picnic tables dotted throughout the park. At select times, the park's concession stand may be open.
The park also features a campground, mountain biking, geocaching opportunities, and a stage.
Bilger's Rocks is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
