The Wissahickon Valley Park Trail in Philadelphia stretches seven miles along asphalt and gravel paths and welcomes hikers, bicyclists, and even horseback riders. In the winter, cross-country skiers ski along the snow-covered trail.
Embark on the scenic trail in Philadelphia's 1,800 acre Wissahickon Valley Park. Within that sprawling park lie an estimated 50 trails that all promise picture perfect views.
Start your journey of the most beautiful hike in Pennsylvania at the Green Valley Inn or at Northwestern Avenue and Andorra at Thomas Road.
Cross footbridges as you make the seven mile journey to the end of the trail at Lincoln Drive on the south side of Wissahickon Valley Park.

Snap photos as you approach and cross through the quaint covered bridge. The Thomas Mill Covered Bridge, which passes over the Wissahickon Creek, is accessible only to hikers, bicyclists, and horseback riders. No motor vehicles of any kind are permitted.
