A four-mile trail that's rated moderate, due to rocky terrain and some steep climbs. The trail can become overgrown, and you might hit some uneven terrain.
Flanked by lush forest trees, the massive boulders are perfect for exploring, popular with both adults and kids.
If you're not in the mood for a hike, you won't miss out on the rocks. Drive along Corbett Road, until you hit the parking lot. Once you park your car, you'll only be steps from the boulders.
Make a day of it by bringing a picnic and enjoying a meal and the view at the picnic area, right near the rocks.
While the boulders are undoubtedly the masterpiece of the forest, you definitely want to follow the short path to the overlook, too.
Walk up a fairly short wooden staircase that will lead you to absolutely striking views of Clear Creek State Forest.
