McDowell Creek Falls County Park is a beautiful nature area tucked into the countryside near Lebanon, Oregon.
Two main features of the park are the 40-ft. (and aptly named) Majestic falls and the 120-ft. Royal Terrace Falls. Both are majestic sights to behold.
This wonderful hidden gem is home to gorgeous woodland scenery including two creeks, numerous waterfalls, walking paths, wooden bridges, and more.
It's a great place for hiking, picnicking, viewing wildlife, fishing, and wading into the creek's cool water on hot days.
Three miles of scenic, leisurely hiking trails are woven through the area. One great hike is the 1.8-mile McDowell Creek Falls Loop Hike, which leads to both Majestic Falls and Royal Terrace Falls.
It's an enchanting experience to walk along the rustic boardwalks and viewing platforms which offer stunning views of the waterfalls.
Along the creek and in the pools beneath the waterfalls, you'll find gorgeous spots to take a little dip or even go fishing.
The park is open year-round and beautiful in every season, though the waterfalls vary quite a bit depending on the time of year.
