The Oregon Coast Aquarium is a favorite for locals and visitors, and hosts around 42,000 people every year. If you can't stroll through the 39-acre space located on Yaquina Bay, no worries! You can still see three of the most popular exhibits, right from your living room. Check out these free livestream cameras, where you can see sharks, otters, and sea birds:
The Oregon Coast Aquarium opened its doors in 1984, and it's been a favorite for visitors from all over the state ever since. You'll find it in Newport.
A day spent at this aquarium is a wonderful day, indeed! The sea otters always draw big crowds with their adorable little faces and entertaining antics.
A stroll through the Passages of the Deep exhibit lets you walk through tunnels where sharks, rays, and fish surround you.
The Seabird Aviary is a great place to spend some time watching the puffins, auklets, common murres and other sea birds.
Currently, The Oregon Coast Aquarium is closed, due to COVID-19. We're sure you're already missing these amazing animals as much as we are, but we have good news. You can see several of the exhibits via free live stream cameras!
See the otters frolic all day long when you check out the Otter Cam.
Watch puffins at play on the Seabird Cam.
See sharks swimming around on the Shark Cam.
The live cameras are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., every day.
During this trying time, The Oregon Coast Aquarium could really use your support. Consider donating to its emergency operating fund. Though the aquarium is currently closed to the public, it's still posting daily on its Facebook page, so make sure to follow the page to see tons of great photos of the aquarium's residents.
