Oregon is a place for adventurers... and dreamers. In The Beaver State, you'll find some of the dreamiest, most charming, wondrous places -- spots that seem to have been plucked straight from a fairy tale. At the top of the list, though, is an Oregon hike that journeys through a real-life enchanted forest. The Hobbit Trail and China Creek Trail Loop is an easy trek in Florence, Oregon, that features old-growth forests, winsome woodland scenery, and a completely magical experience. Let's take a hike along this Oregon fairy trail!
The Hobbit Trail is a four-mile loop near Florence that's accessible for hikers of all levels.
This enchanting trek is one of the most popular along the Oregon Coast. Hikers come from all over to experience this fairy trail in Oregon. Even me. I knew I would be in Oregon for a few days and we decided to take a special trip out here for the hike.
The loop trail journeys deep into some of Oregon's most beautiful old-growth forests.
The sinuous, moss-covered trees tower above you on this Oregon fairy trail, creating a forest canopy unlike any other.
You'll also find a variety of fern and verdant foliage all along the trails, with the trees creating some of the most fantastic shapes and forms on this Hobbit Trail in Oregon.
Naturally, this enchanting trail has its own wooden footbridge. Are there trolls underneath? You'll just have to see for yourself.
No trolls to be seen on my hike. No hobbits either!
You'll also find a lot of life along this scenic fairy trail in Oregon; the berries and mushrooms provide sustenance for the forest hobbits (and wildlife!).
The trail opens up near the end, and you'll walk up wooden log steps, beneath a tunnel of trees.
I felt like a fairy princess as I headed into this part of the Hobbit Trail.
It's absolutely gorgeous to take in.
On my trip here, while I had read about the tunnel, actually seeing it still caught me by surprise.
I loved that there were all these fun shells that lined the tunnel walk down.
The Hobbit Trail ends at the charming and totally captivating Oregon Coast.
It was such a breathtaking way to end the trail.
This Oregon fairy trail really is a bucket list must. Come and be completely captivated by Oregon's winsome woods.
