Cavitt Creek Falls is a stunning day-use recreational swimming and fishing hole. The pool is fed by a series of small waterfalls.
The pool is beloved for its mesmerizing blue waters and lively fish population. If you visit during the fall or winter, you may be lucky enough to catch salmon and steelhead fish literally leaping out of the pool.
Of course, the main attraction here is the swimming and sunbathing. The creek’s waters are chilly, but that makes this natural pool perfect for cooling off on hot days or easing your aching feet after a day of exploring the surrounding forest.
If you can’t tear yourself away from the beautiful shores of this pool, there are actually 10 non-reservable campsites nearby that are priced at $10 per night. Staying here for the evening might also give you enough time to explore nearby Wolf Creek Falls, which is about a 1.2-mile hike away.
Please be aware that pets are not allowed in the swimming ahead but can stay in the campground area as long as they are leashed. The natural pool is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, and the campground is open between late May and late September.
