The 43-acre park located in the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood just off of SE McLoughlin Boulevard, features the city's first permanent nature-inspired playground to encourage creative play.
This unique park offers plenty of opportunities for kids to experience nature first-hand by climbing all over it.
The hands-on playground encourages active play, and includes a variety of logs tilted for kids' climbing fun.
Along with creative play, the park also features a concrete stream channel that allows children to manipulate the water flow.
Bring a picnic for when the kids get done exploring. A grassy picnic area with benches is just perfect to make a day of this beautiful park.
The stream is lovely to sit near, and stone markers along the water tell the story of Crystal Springs.
You will love walking along the expansive boardwalk and being immersed in nature all around you.
You may even get the chance to see some other wildlife while you are there.
A giant grove of sequoia trees will fascinate your whole party, and lovely wide trails are perfect for walking your dog on a nice day, and even he will be entertained with ample ducks around.
