We've featured Turner Falls many times in the past but they have a new attraction this year that offers an unforgettable experience. You can now take a carriage ride to the falls and it's every horse lover's dream. If you've never visited this popular place, you simply must visit this year. You'll find the state's largest waterfall, a swimming hole, epic hiking trails, hidden caves, and more.
Check it out below:
Tucked away in the Arbuckle Mountains, along Honey Creek, you'll find Turner Falls. It's just six miles from downtown Davis, in the south-central part of Oklahoma, and features the largest waterfall in the state, standing at 77 ft. tall.
New this year to Turner Falls is 4-D Carriages, offering carriage rides to and from the falls. Pick-up and drop-off is near the Trading Post, so if you want to ride, park near the post.
The rides are $5 per person for one way, $10 per person for round trip, and ages 3 and under are free (cash only).
This isn't your typical swimming hole. The 77-foot waterfall cascades into a natural pool and it's one of the most gorgeous places in the state. They also have a slide and diving board that is loads of fun.
Another great place to visit is the nearby spring that is less crowded. It's right next to the falls and offers shallow areas for the little ones.
Bring your hiking boots along and explore one of the trails in the Arbuckle Mountains. Once you get up the trails, the views are epic.
