It's that time of year again when you get to pick out your festive pumpkins for fall decorating and baking homemade pies. Oklahoma is home to many wonderful pumpkin patches but we found one that is a must-visit this fall. Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch was voted one of the best in the South by Southern Living Magazine and it's filled with things to do. Check it out and you might agree that it is the best pumpkin patch in Oklahoma!
Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch is located at 720 South Henney Road, Arcadia, Oklahoma. Enjoy a day of fall fun in the country air at this beloved pumpkin patch.
Family-owned and operated, Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch is considered by some to be the best pumpkin patch in Oklahoma.
In addition to selecting the best pumpkin for your carving needs, you can also feed goats, ride ponies, and enjoy some family-friendly arts and crafts activities.
There is also a great gift shop and concessions on site.
You can really make an entire day of it at the Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch. They have a wide variety of goodies, along with hot dogs and s'mores to cook outside over the fire pits. A visit here really feels like fall in Oklahoma.
The farm has been growing pumpkins for over a decade and has become one of the best places to go in the state for pumpkins and fall activities.
The Petting Zoo is one of the most popular spots here. And it's not just the kids who get all excited about the animals. Their adult chaperones jump in on the action too!
You can also check out the Woodland Fairy Castle and slide away into the Deep Forest.
How about pretending you're living on the prairie in the Candy Corn Indian TeePees? This is definitely something you won't find at other pumpkin patches in Oklahoma!
There's also a beautiful sunflower field on the grounds, along with a tire swing, slides, hay bale swing, hammocks in the shade, and much more.
How cute are these decorated pumpkins? Pick one up or get a few plain ones and decorate your own. Nothing quite says fall in Oklahoma like a colorfully painted pumpkin!
And don’t forget to take the family on a fun tractor ride while here. It’s a great way to tour the overall property.
