Osage Hills State Park was established in 1935 and was one of the seven original parks in Oklahoma.
The park boasts over 1,100 acres of lush greenery, waterfalls, streams, bluffs, forests and natural beauty.
Lookout Lake is a scenic lake in the park that is the perfect place to go fishing.
Or, take a nice leisurely boat ride. Fishing boats are available to rent at the lake.
Sand Creek winds through the park and is a great spot to cool off in the summer. The water is so clear and refreshing on a hot day.
Some of the fish you'll find in the water range from bass to crappie to catfish.
Hiking trails wind all throughout Osage Hills and take you to many of the bluffs that overlook the creek below.
The foliage is thick and lush and provides a vast amount of natural beauty.
The park offers cabin rentals for overnight stays and camping and RV sites.
The picnic areas and pavilions provide great spots for a picnic lunch while exploring the park.
