Located in southern Oklahoma in the town of Davis is the Arbuckle Wilderness Park - a fun filled adventure on over 200 acres with hundreds of diverse creatures roaming freely. The Arbuckle Wilderness Park is the perfect spot for a day trip. It's located just 60 miles from Oklahoma City in the town of Davis at 6132 Kay Starr Trail, just across from Turner Falls.
The park is open year-round and is one of Oklahoma's outstanding tourist attractions. It's located in the beautiful Arbuckle Mountains and is the perfect outing for the whole family.
You'll drive along a gravel road in the park and see many exotic animals up close. Just make sure to stay in your car while on the road.
Animal feed is available for purchase and recommended if you want to get the animals right up to your windows.
Have your cameras ready because you won't believe what these animals will do to make you laugh.
Along the way, you'll see a variety of different animals. From donkeys and llamas to geese and emus, they'll line the road waiting for you to feed them.
There's also a gem mining adventure open during the spring and summer.
Before you take the exit drive out the park, you can visit the reptile exhibit, souvenir shop, petting zoo and cafe. Take this awe-inspiring adventure and enjoy the animals in a unique and personal way.
