Although the zoo is currently closed due to COVID-19, Zoo Blooms will feature a virtual tour of the gardens and the sea of colorful tulips we all know and love. All you need to do to attend this year's event is mark your calendars, check your WiFi connection and sit back and enjoy the view.
This time of year, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is usually bustling with activity as families flock to the zoo for some sunshine and fun with the animals.

The month-long celebration of Zoo Blooms is a beloved event for locals and zoo members. And if you typically don't visit the zoo in April, the colorful blooms pleasantly surprise you.
This year, the zoo is dedicated to sharing their beautiful blooms via virtual tours and special deliveries to area hospitals and nursing homes.
More than 100,000 tulips grace the grounds of Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens during the month of April.
With a wide variety of colors, these beautiful blooms create a rainbow.
This year, Zoo Blooms will feature a virtual tour via Facebook on Saturday, April 11 at 3 p.m. Even if you won't have the chance to smell these beauties, you can partake in a free tour from the comfort of your home.
To attend the virtual Zoo Blooms tour, simply go to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden Facebook page and tune into the page's livestream on April 11 at 3 p.m.
You'll want to keep following the Facebook feed for Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, as the page is currently sharing several virtual Home Safaris.
Who knows, you might just spot your favorite animal and get to observe an up-close virtual stream of feeding time!
If you aren't able to watch the Zoo Blooms tour live at the scheduled time, that's ok. All Home Safaris and virtual zoo visits are posted on the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden's website.
