Cincinnati is home to many lovely parks, many of which are right along the Ohio River. With river views on one side and downtown on the other, it's no wonder this is a great spot for a relaxing and welcoming gathering place. We've previously shared about the waterfront favorites Smale Riverfront Park here, and Sawyer Point here, but we're now going to head east to Theodore M. Berry International Friendship Park, located right along Riverside Drive. This unique park is lesser known than its nearby destinations, but many would argue that it is even more picturesque and definitely has some of the most amazing views in Cincinnati.
Theodore M. Berry International Friendship Park, known by many as Friendship Park for short, was completed in 2003 and is situated right along the river, just east of downtown.
The park is named after Cincinnati's first African-American mayor and was built as a beautiful tribute to world unity and global understanding.
This theme is woven throughout the park, within its unique sculptures, walkways, and incredible views.
The design for the park was inspired by a child's friendship bracelet, with two intertwining walkways that guide visitors through the park.
It's the perfect place to wander, explore, and relax, as it just feels like the peaceful retreat that it was built to be.
The sculpture and gardens represent five continents and the riverside bike trail also connects within the park.
You're able to take an international adventure as you meander through the park, taking in the eye-catching sculptures and colorful gardens.

"Castle of Air" is another one-of-a-kind feature of the park and is a stunning addition to its landscape.
Contributed by the city of Munich, it also represents the idea of international relations and friendship, and is definitely a photo-worthy spot within the park.
All visitors seem to enjoy the curved, mirrored walls, and the views reflected in them are unforgettable.
