Ohio isn't really known for its mansions, but there's one in particular that's stunningly beautiful - and you need to see it. Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens is a national treasure in Akron, Ohio that's open to the public from April to December. Since 1912, this mansion has enchanted locals and visitors alike who've walked its halls. Check it out:
This elaborate mansion is the former home of F.A. Seiberling, co-founder of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
It is one of the top 10 largest country estate homes in America.
An accredited museum of the American Alliance of Museums, this estate is open to the public for tours, weddings and other events.
The home was a gift to the city of Akron from the Seiberling children.
The 65-room estate features five historic buildings, eight gardens and 70 acres total.
During the holiday season, the mansion is all decked out, making it a breathtakingly beautiful sight to behold.
Tickets to see the mansion are $19 per adult and $8 for youth, ages 6-17. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Visit their website or Facebook page for more information.
